49ers News

Anquan Boldin Re-Signing with San Francisco 49ers

So as I woke up for work this morning, I watched a little bit of SportsCenter on ESPN. One of the bigger news stories that caught my eye out of the NFL world was about the 49ers, and their serious pursuit about re-signing a 33-year old veteran WR. Now this WR isn't just a nobody or a washed-up Vet. This is someone who has played in multiple Super Bowls and made huge contributions in those games, I might add (Anquan Boldin Super Bowl Stats). I realize his age and how that comes into play in today's league, where the "young guns" rule the football world but there are factors about his game that can't go unnoticed:
1. The man is a Football Vacuum - I mean, on several occasions, I have seen him rake in catches that resemble that of a number one recruit at a combine.
2. With Age comes Virtue - He, of course, is one of the slower Receivers in the league (and has been for awhile) but he still manages to run the best Short-to-Intermediate Routes in the game. He has fine-tuned this skill though his playing years. By doing this he creates separation like that of a 4.3 second Receiver.
3. Obviously he hits the Weight Room - Anquan Boldin has the strongest hands on the San Francisco Roster right now. He Played at Florida State for college ball and has had a knack about being the biggest, strongest, and fastest.

With these "young gun" receivers, they tend to listen and mold better when there is an older, wiser athlete in the locker room. That role, I think, is best suited for Boldin and I think Boldin is best suited for San Francsico.

Introduction

So I guess I have to welcome myself to the blogging community. This, I'm going to treat as my introduction post. Hello, I'm Andre Albert and I’m a Home Owners’ Association Management Team Leader who’s currently continuing education to become a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I've worked at one of Orlando’s premier private golfing communities, Stoneybrook East, for the past two years dealing with Resident/Conflict Management. My enrollment at the University of Central Florida follows the Human Communication Major track. My anticipated career plan consists of becoming a licensed Counselor in the state of Florida through a Graduate Program of a high, respected caliber. I've volunteered at some Florida hospitals and have even shadowed Psychiatric Nurses at North Broward Health General Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Some experiences allowed me to sit-in on real-time counseling sessions and observe different counseling methodologies. I’m a First Generation Scholarship Match and an active financial donor to Mental Health America to support their research division. My passions include the Wide World of Sports, National and Global Current Events, and the continuing Education on Mental Health. Since these subjects are some of my passions, I find it easy to go with these three aspects as Blogging Topics.
